8:15: Wake up to a quiet apartment. Read. Do a workout from YouTube.
9:30: Make some coffee and eat some cereal.
10:30: The girls wake up and I hear “1, 2, 3, Allllll-exx…1, 2, 3, Alllll-exx….” as they try to get my attention but are still too nervous to just come into my room.
10:35: The girls eat breakfast and I steal some of their chocolate biscuits.
10:45: Make beds + brush teeth.
11:00: Play memory and card games and build puzzles (I’m especially obsessed with the memory-matching game AND am constantly in awe of how GOOD little kids are at those concentration-type games!)
12:00: Head down to the pool and spend a couple hours there waiting for the sun to fully come out.
2:30: Eat lunch on the terrace.
3:00: Dance to Macarena and Asereje and build more puzzles while singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” (oh, the delight of the cutest little Spanish accents!)
3:30: Head back down to the pool.
5:00: The parents are usually back now so I go on a walk or head to a cafe (where I’ve already become a regular, mind you!) to get some work done.
9:30: Head back to the family’s apartment and get ready to go on another walk with the family.
10:00: Walk along the boardwalk of Vilagarcía and eventually end up at a little cafe for a coke (the weather is usually PERFECT at this time as the sun is just beginning to set).
11:30: Arrive back home for a lovely dinner.
12:30: Time for bed (kids included!)
